I purchased a home in December 2019 that Sam Stewart Custom Homes built in 2001, planning to move to Austin from Houston. I decided to completely renovate the interior and freshen up the exterior. Sam Stewart and Sumner Sagebiel agreed to take on this project. Sam recommended an architectural firm for the interior renovation. I brought in my long-time interior decorator.
Despite the fact that the renovation happened right in the middle of the Covid epidemic, Sam and Sumner worked seamlessly with the architects and my designer. It was a challenging project, but I moved into my dream Austin home in March 2022 and have never looked back. Sam and Sumner have continued to support me with regular issues that come up in the normal course of owning a home. They are smart and responsive and give me the confidence to own my own property by myself. I do not need anyone else in Austin for my home except Sam and Sumner.
